As Director, Community Engagement at Health Union, I led strategic initiatives to foster vibrant digital communities, enhance stakeholder relationships, and align outreach efforts with key organizational goals. This work involved leveraging data and streamlined processes to significantly boost engagement and improve operational efficiency across
digital platforms.
Fragmented workflows, limited volunteer leadership capacity, and inconsistent engagement strategies weakened digital engagement, virtual community management, and stakeholder coordination across 40+ online health communities.
Led a cross-departmental initiative to streamline digital engagement and survey workflows, designed multimedia outreach campaigns, and strengthened virtual community management by building volunteer leadership capacity. All efforts were centered on the patient experience and aligned with broader engagement strategy and organizational goals.
Improved data quality, enhanced digital engagement, and increased internal alignment to strengthen community management and responsiveness across platforms.
